Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do the jars and vases come with the baskets?
A. Yes.  Any item pictured with a container comes with that container.  The
containers are either mason jars or 7.5 " glass vases.
 The Spiral Flower
Holders come with floral tubes, clear plastic with a rubber cap
.

Q. What if I break a
container? Where can I get a replacement?
A. Individual mason jars and 7.5" vases are usually available at Michael's Art &
Craft stores as well as A. C. Moore
.  Plastic Floral Tubes can be found at a
florist or a "super-size" grocery store floral department

Q. Do I get flowers in my vases like in the pictures?
A. No, the items are shipped empty

Q. Can I use my basket vase outdoors?
A. Yes.  When exposed to humidity and heat, the oxidized finish will continue
to oxidize further. If you want the finish not to change we recommend a coating
of a weatherproofing spray, ie., Rustoleum Clear or other clear varnish.   Some
customers oxidize for a while
then spray for a more finished antique look.  The
g
alvanized finish will turn a flat grey color and stay that way.
And remember: Don't let water stand in the vases outdoors in winter; when it
freezes, the glass may break!

Q. Are other finishes available?
A. The two finishes we offer are Oxidized (brownish, slightly rusty) and
Galvanized (silver grey).  But, some of our customers like to spray them a color,
like black, to match their wrought iron, or white, to match Victorian
or
"shabby-chic"
decor.  If you plan to spray them a color, order the oxidized finish;
it will take the paint best.

Q. Do the basket vases hang on the wall? Do they stand?
A. All the basket vases have a handle that swings up and hooks over a nail,
screw or hook.  The swinging handle and the weight of the basket allows the
basket to snug tight against the wall.  So all the basket vases will hang on the
wall.  All but one will stand flat on a flat surface, like a table, kitchen countertop
or on a windowsill.  That one is
the Vase Hanger. Because of the shape, it does
not sit flat, is top-heavy and should
hang.

Q. I saw you at a show.  You had something in your booth that isn't on your
order form.  Can I order it?
A. Yes.  Some items in my booth may be seasonal, experiments, limited
production pieces, one-of's or something that we no longer regularly make.  If
you know what you want, I can make it.  Send any inquiry via email; I'll get back
to you.
