Selecting a tree with an angled trunk
suggests motion; and the swooping
limbs carry that motion further. The
whole drawing has a musicality. The
small marks really build form and
texture, which combined with the
angles and motion create a lot of
character.

We have a tree like this in our
backyard! I think of it as having
personality - as if it could uproot itself
and dance around (when no one's
looking!). You did a great job of
capturing that sense of movement.

I see it as a falling tree! It's limbs are
flailing about like someone trying to get
their balance as they're about to
topple over.
